A client contacted us with a request to update the site design, but not lose anything. The site was developed in Magento, the version has not been updated for about 5 years, and the Cheesecake site is the first on google for commercial requests related to cheesecakes.

Technical features of the online store redesign

As for the development, we had an unpleasant task to change the 10-year-old template to Magento, which, of course, had a lot of errors, and the code left much to be desired. Let's not be cunning, two weeks after the release of the project - errors were periodically detected and, of course, we fixed them for free.

Features of the online store redesign

We tried to change the structure and UX as little as possible - in order to avoid bugs. Therefore, we tried to implement changes in the design with the utmost care and double testing of each function (developer + project manager). As a result, the site was refreshed, and the main screen of the mobile version began to look no worse than any modern online food store, despite the fact that the site is written on a template and editing it was a test of the nerves of the whole team :)
